Three Panoramic Vacation Cottages in Nahan
Three individual cottages in Sirmour – near Nahan, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas are set far away from the modern world. Though situated 25 kilometers away from Nahan, each cottage offers well-appointed rooms that meet the standards demanded by today’s lifestyle. All cottages are named after writers of note and thus you have the opportunity to create and conjure images, words or music from the depths of your soul. This cluster of cottage is about 15 kilometers from the famous and religious Renuka Lake and Renuka zoo and is primarily fashioned for the recluse and rest seekers.
The owners love for books and music is proudly on display in all four cottages. Books are a aplenty, with a collection to please the young and old alike. Indoor games and Wi-Fi (Dongle), huge spaces to run around along with an opportunity to spot birds and small animals are activities that will keep the little ones engaged through the day. Doing nothing is an art here; pen your thoughts, marvel at nature’s bounty or connect with creatures other than humans.
If you are not inclined to sit around all day, you can join cooking classes that teach about the local flavors and cuisine. You can choose to go for a walk to the Badholia Temple waterfall, a kilometer away from the property. Or go another five kilometers or so for a picnic to the Jalal River bed. Take a trip to the lake and zoo. There’s also a common room with its panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas and it is a place to meet and greet fellow travelers.
The food at this Nahan cottage is prepared by in the in-house cook Ramji and it appeases with its focus on simple flavors and fantastic taste. Background sounds of the Jalal River, chirpiness of birds and the sometimes deep silence of the hills all attach themselves to the ambiance of this Nahan cottages. Each cottage stands alone giving its guests the opportunity to indulge in some peaceful time with oneself or simply marvel at being a minuscule atom in the vast molecules of nature.
You will need to walk for approximately 150 metres from the car parking upto your cottage.
In case you have knee problems, then certainly this is not the kind of place for you.
