To reach this panoramic cottage, for a brief while you need to abandon highways and cemented roads and travel on country road amongst breathtaking beauty of the mountains and a glacier that is a testimony to our frailty. A forest reserve in the vicinity, mineral water from natural springs and colors and sounds of nature that stir the imagination are the activities that are on offer here.
Meet the owner couple who left the urbane life to take on the ubiquitous stillness of Hartola and claim it as their own. Their 5 bedroom cottage in the mountains of Kumaon is surrounded by orchards of plums, apples, strawberries while the village Hartola has a carpet of lush green grass. It offers the most beatific aspect of life, as birds sing with abandon, a river which the villagers believe to be the Ganges flows gleefully, fruits grow organically with their natural taste intact and the trees and forest are alive 24 x 7 with a life of their own. You will take pleasure in a mist of pure air and savor meals that keep you healthy.

The cottages are very tastefully built and have been tastefully furnished keeping the guest sensibilities in mind. We commit you home like comforts and a pleasurable stay. There are total of 2 separate cottages within the compound. The bigger cottage has 3 Bedrooms while the smaller cottage has 2 Bedrooms. Both the cottages have their own independent living rooms, lawn and parking.
Individual rooms can be hired depending upon your needs. There is an experienced caretaker cum cook to take care of day to day chores.
Price information:
Rs. 5,500 for a couple (On twin sharing basis) with Breakfast and Dinner (Veg/Non Veg)
Starting from Bed Tea, Breakfast and Dinner. Dinner would include one non-vegetarian dish.
Extra person Rs. 1,500 Includes all meals
Goods & Services Tax @ 5% is applicable on above rates.
Driver stay can be arranged - lodging and food @Rs.1,000/driver/day
Drinking water provided is spring water
Bonfire can be organized with prior intimation for Rs. 500

The cottage can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 15 Adults. We have provision for extra beds.
