This 2 bedroom duex Himalayan cottage is located 3 kms ahead of Majhkali, Ranikhet. On the ground floor there is a living room cum dining along with a modular kitchen, which is well equipped with all modern amenities. On the first of the cottage are the two bedrooms adjacent to each other, with a large size balcony facing the Himalayan mountains.
Located at a height of 6000 feet (1829 metres), the weather is generally pleasant round the year. There are reserved pine forests on the three sides of the cottage and the air is clean, crisp and rejuvenating. On a clear day, from the balcony of the cottage, one gets a panoramic view of the snow clad mountains in the distance. It is an ideal location if you are planning a quiet but enjoyable holiday with your family and friends.
The cottage consists of 2 independent bedrooms, drawing room, fully equipped kitchen and a patio. There is a caretaker available on hand and can fetch groceries etc from the local market. He can cook for you at a nominal cost (Rs. 500 per day) 3 meals included.
The cottage is drive able to the last point. Majkhali can serve as your base to visit the surrounding spots like Naintal, Binsar, Almora, Bhimtal, Jogeshwar, Kausani. There is a local market nearby which sells hand knitted caps, socks and sweaters. Ranikhet main town market is approximately 14 kms from the cottage.

The Ranikhet cottage offers the facility of a cook cum caretaker. Please remember this is a home stay and not a hotel, and advance notice on your plans makes it easier to meet requests. Cook services available (Rs. 500/- per day). Provisions and groceries on actual. The staff will help to procure these on behalf of you on reimbursement basis.
