This is a three bedroom independent cottage in Bhimtal near Nainital. Nestled in the mountains with views of the Himalayan valleys, ambiance of a home-away-from-home, warmth of the hill people and clean, crisp, breathable air, this cottage is the place to spend vacations with family and friends. The cottage is situated in a little hamlet - Jungaliagaon, a bit away from main Bhimtal and a lot away from the hustle-bustle of loud tourists and louder vehicle horns. This cottage is near the tals and your hill adventure activities; yet it is secluded enough to bring inner peace and everlasting happiness.
This family cottage in Nainital offers a total of three well-appointed bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor while one bedroom is on the ground floor and come with its own private verandah that runs along the entire length of the cottage. Two of the first floor bedrooms have views of the valley. All rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. Also welcoming is a large lobby, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor. The first floor has a small lobby with a kitchenette for guests who seek independence and non-interference. The cottage combined can host a maximum of 8 guests. It's only a 15 minute drive from Bhimtal but much cooler and quieter because of the 6,000 above sea level altitude. The larger ground floor bedroom gives guests access to a private dining area. Guests in the first floor bedrooms also have a small dining area and a kitchenette where they can make tea and coffee.
The kitchen of this vacation cottage in Bhimtal is equipped with all modern amenities and a cook who can rustle up all-time Indian food along with pahari specialties. Breakfast is included as part of the tariff but lunch and dinner are at an extra cost. Please remember you are in a home stay and it is imperative that you inform the cook about your meals in advance for ease of appropriating raw materials and cooking with perfection. In between enjoying the views from the rooms or eating mouth-watering dishes prepared to order.
You can go walking, trekking, paragliding or simple tourist’s visits to Nainital, Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. Butterfly buffs would love the 500+ species of butterflies at the nearby butterfly museum. MEAL PLAN OPTION - A (Suitable for Large groups and long staying guests)
The cottage will provide the basic supplies like cooking gas and stove, refrigerator, pots and pans. Crockery and cutlery, washing of utensils etc. (Generally preferred by guests)
The housekeeper will assist in procuring the provisions/grocery (Dry rations) from the local Bhowali market on behalf of you in advance before your arrival. The cost of which has to be reimbursed at the time of arrival.
The guests can avail the facility of the caretaker cum cook at an additional amount, which is purely optional:

How to get there:
By Rail : Kathgodam Shatabdi (daily except Thursdays) - Leaves New Delhi station at 06.15 and arrives at Kathgodam at 11.50.
Leaves New Kathgodam station at 15.35 and arrives at New Delhi station at 21:05.
Uttarakhand Sampark Kranti Express - Leaves Old Delhi at 16.00 and arrives at Kathgodam at 22.40.
Ranikhet Express (overnight) - Leaves Old Delhi at 21.10 and arrives at 05.05.
By Road : From Delhi, the journey takes seven hours depending on the traffic and the weather. You need to take NH 24 up to Rampur where you turn left onto NH 87 which takes you past Kathgodam till the turn off for Bhimtal. The route from Nizammuddin Bridge in Delhi to Kathgodam will be Nizamuddin Bridge (NH-24) – Ghaziabad (NH-24) - Hapur Bypass (NH-24) – Gajraula (NH-24) - Moradabad Bypass (NH-24) – Rampur (NH-87) – Bilaspur (NH-87) – Rudrapur (NH-87) – Haldwani (NH-87) – Kathgodam – Bhimtal – Jungalia Gaon.
